I am an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Swarthmore College. I received my PhD and MA from Northwestern University’s Political Science department. My research examines the intersection of law and public policy in the U.S. system (with a focus on Supreme Court authority), policy development, and how governing institutions constrain judicial power.
At Swarthmore, I primarily teach courses on Constitutional Law and Judicial Politics, as well as an introductory course to American Politics.
My website includes my CV and more information about my research and teaching.
Outside of academia, I enjoy walking my dog (Obie), watching sports, playing chess, and cooking.
